Welcome to the Independent Law Network website and blog

The seven Independent Law Network members
A new type of lawyer – but with old fashioned values

Things are changing in the legal profession. New ways of doing things, new technologies, new types of firm. But the needs of people like you, the client, remain the same.

In the Independent Law Network we all have our own separate firms and our own specialist areas of work. We are all very different, and have different ways of working. For example

  • Some of us will see you in our office,
  • Some of use will come and visit you in your home, and
  • One of us works entirely online through the Internet.

We all use modern technology in varying degrees to help us work as efficiently as possible.

And we all adhere to those old fashioned values of integrity, personal service, and ‘helping people’, which are the reason why we came into the profession in the first place.

If you are interested in using an ILN lawyer, please select the appropriate link below to read more about us and the work that we do. We look forward to working with you.

Here’s what some of our clients have said:

About Mark Foley:

“I was keen to source first class, yet succinct legal advice and resulting paperwork. After a short briefing meeting with Mark Foley at Linked Law, I was soon reassured that Mark understood both my business plans and my legal needs. The resulting documents, terms and condition and a short delivery note, were in use within 3 weeks of our initial meeting.

As we had agreed the brief and fixed a price, I knew what to expect….and sure enough Mark delivered!” Mark Overton, Off Beat Lounge

*****

About David Laws:

“Fantastic team building capacities, a fastidious approach to case preparation, weeding out the unnecessary and focussing on the critical, being an effective negotiator and having sound judgment – allied with a warmth and approachability to clients.”   Simon Davenport QC

*****

About Tessa Shepperson‘s Landlord Law website service:

“We have been with you since 2006 and love the site – gives us massive confidence as landlords, and it makes a huge difference having a real person fronting it rather than a faceless company name” Ian Cosier, landlord
